Blocking, transport
Right of the system operator to block the electronic device (on-board unit) and transportation of the electronic device on toll roads
If the amount of prepaid toll is equal to or lower than the minimum prepaid toll credit (CZK 600), the electronic device indicates to the user a low prepaid toll credit, which is indicated by the yellow EUR symbol. The green LED flashes in an interval of 2 seconds. Based on the indication, the vehicle operator or driver shall be obliged to prepay the toll or exit the toll roads. When the prepaid toll credit reaches CZK 0, the electronic device indicates that this limit has been reached and it is blocked.
Similarly, the system operator shall notify the user via the electronic device in the postpay mode that the toll amount in one billing period reached 80% of the bank guarantee. The electronic device indicates that this limit has been reached with the yellow EUR symbol. The green LED flashes at an interval of 2 seconds. This notice serves the vehicle operator/driver as an indication that it is necessary to increase the bank guarantee. Upon reaching 90%, the system operator shall be entitled to immediately block all electronic devices issued for the vehicle operator's vehicles under the relevant agreement.
The vehicle operator shall be obliged to ensure that a bank buarantee is issued for a period of at least eighteen months and that the existing (still valid) bank guarantee is extended by the bank at least two months before the expiry of the bank guarantee or a new bank guarantee is issued and a guarantee certificate is issued and that the term of the bank guarantee is not shorter than the Invoice maturity date.
A warning will be sent to the vehicle operator as soon as there is less than four months before the bank guarantee expires. If the bank guarantee is not extended by the bank at the latest two months before the expiry of the bank guarantee, or a new bank guarantee is not issued or the corresponding guarantee certificate is not approved by the system operator, the system operator shall be entitled to immediately block all electronic devices issued for vehicles of the vehicle operator under the relevant agreement.
In case of failure to pay an Invoice in the postpay mode even within 3 calendar days after its maturity, the system operator shall be entitled to block all the electronic devices of the vehicle operator that is in arrears with the payment of the toll and other liabilities, whereby each blocked electronic device indicates the status of blocking to the vehicle operator and/or the vehicle driver according to the electronic device user’s guide.
Transporting electronic device
If an electronic device is transported on the toll roads in the vehicle during the journey, a device not intended to be used to record toll events at the time of transport, the vehicle operator with whom the electronic device is being transported shall be obliged to ensure the proper transport of the electronic device according to the system operator's instructions, as specified in the electronic device user's guide - i.e. by calling the system operator's customer service line.
